After retiring from the biomedical field in 2009, I began exploring painting and collage through studies at the Carrboro ArtsCenter and Raleigh Contemporary Art School, North Carolina.  I later joined the Visual Art Exchange and participated in exhibitions and juried shows.

My recent work focuses on acrylic-painted rice paper collages inspired by gardens, imagination, and memories of life’s small joys. Art has brought new color, creativity, and connection to my retirement years.
