Statement

My art reflects my concern with social injustice and the horror of war. I seek to explore the human condition in a world scarred by violence, hatred, poverty, and sadness. My work expresses the cry of the marginalized, forgotten, and oppressed. It asks the question, "Why?" The art of the human condition is an important responsibility of every artist and is appropriate to any place or time. It is especially timely in this world full of the madness of war.
